Construction Laborer - Part Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set in general repairs and maintenance, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks. The crew member will be responsible for performing basic carpentry and other repair work to ensure that our job sites are in top condition.
Working Conditions:
Driving to various job sites and physically moving construction materials around job sites in all phases of construction is a daily occurrence.
Physical requirements:
This position requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs., sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and walking. He/she will be exposed to all weather conditions and also requires working around dust.
Hours and Compensation:
Part-time hours, typically 15-20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with flexibility depending on workload. Hourly wage commensurate with experience. Starting wage will be $25 an hour. A car allowance is in addition to hourly pay.

Responsibilities:
• Assist Supervisors needed on all job sites
• Exhibit our core purpose and values on a daily basis (Creativity. Loyalty. Attentiveness. Integrity. Restlessness.)
• Communicate daily and effectively to the Project Supervisor and Owners as needed
• Bring a positive attitude, exhibit initiative
• Dress professionally with Virtuoso Builders gear
Duties:
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, and drywall.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address potential punch list items.
• Maintain organization of work areas and storage spaces.
• Communicate with team to report on completed tasks.
• Purchase materials and supplies as needed for maintenance tasks, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Pick up and deliver materials to job site as needed.
• Assist in small projects on individual job sites as needed.
• Provide daily reports.
• Keep job sites clean with daily walk through and attention.
• Attending regularly scheduled weekly office meetings every Monday morning.
• Attends pre-construction meeting prior to commencement of new projects.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a skilled worker. 4 - 7 years.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. Has some working knowledge of architectural plans.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. Preferably a truck for transportation and hauling purposes.
• Detail oriented and problem solver.
• Be teachable and willing to learn.
Education:
• GED or high school equivalent.
